The contemporary bibliographical fonds contains the books published after the year 1960. It also includes offprints of
specialized publications, extensive brochures containing useful information for users (economic, customs, statistical
information, etc.) and unpublished studies in doctors' theses, licentiates' theses, reports and proceedings, projects,
etc. The latter documents are not freely accessible and users must request the Library staff for permission
         to consult them.

The books are arranged by the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC), that is to say, by subjects, and they are freely
         accessible for users.

The works most often consulted are those in the field of law, jurisprudence and institutions, followed by those dealing
with geography, history and economy. The books devoted to the various photographic fonds of the country have
increased in recent years, as have those dealing with nature and the environment. The Romanesque art fonds also
show a high level of consultation.

The automated catalogue may be freely consulted by users.
